Welcome to Kid'z Cove IsLAND!
Kid'z Cove IsLAND is a weekly environment created especially for your infant through preschool-aged children. We know that young children are learning and growing in amazing ways. Every Sunday, we take advantage of this unique opportunity to help them understand who God is. We want them to know God as their Creator, their Heavenly Father, & their friend!

Each Sunday, staff and volunteers work hard to create a safe and meaningful class experience for your children. Here are a few things you need to know to help us make the morning a wonderful experience for your child.
If you are a guest, please visit the information desk located at the main entrance of the Beach hallway. This is where your children will be assigned to their classrooms, given a check in & out pass, & any questions you have may be answered.
Classrooms will open 15 minutes before each service. We offer a classroom for birth-twos for the 9:00 & 11:30 adult worship hours as well as the 10:15 Family worship hour in the theater. We offer classrooms for the threes-five year olds at 9:00 & 11:30 adult worship hours only.

Birth-Two:
Please be sure that all items that belong to your child are labeled. This includes bottles, pacifiers, blankies, etc. A note inside the diaper bag with how much formula is needed & any special instructions is helpful. We cannot give your child any medicines however.
Please notify the greeter of any allergy or health concerns. They will make a note of it on your child's tag. A snack list will be posted outside the classroom door.
Please do not pick up your child early, as it can be disruptive to the other children.
Please notify the greeter if your child is potty training. We encourage you to take your child to the potty right before you drop them off at class.
Ages Three to Five- (we promote by school year, not by birthdates)
Your child is ready to move from the "beach hall" to the "dockside" & continue their adventures with their small group leaders each Sunday learning more about God & His love! If you attend regularly, we'll notify you of promotion dates.
Please notify the teacher of any allergy or health concerns. A snack list will be posted outside of the classroom door, please check that sheet weekly.
We do not have diaper changing facilities on the dockside. We encourage promotion to the dockside after they are potty trained. We encourage parents of any preschooler to take them to the restroom prior to dropping them off in class. Each classroom does have its own bathroom.
Parents:
No one has more influence that you do in helping your child know who God is & how much He loves them. We are here to come alongside & help you in this exciting journey! We provide parents resources they can use:
- Small Talk- Each Sunday parents are given a small talk sheet letting you know what your child learned that day & fun ideas of how parents can reinforce what their child learned at church at home that week.
- Baby Presentation- Each Spring & Fall we offer an opportunity for parents to present their child (birth-two) to God & dedicate themselves to raising their child to know who Jesus is. We also provide families with awesome resources to help them in this exciting endeavor. Contact dana@swisscovechristian.com for more information.
- Playgroup- We have a playgroup you are welcome to join for relationship building for you & your child. They also have a message board to share experiences & meet other parents to encourage you in this journey of parenthood. Contact: http://www.cafemom.com/group/sccplaygroup for more information.
