What's happening at The Cove?

  • Baby Bottles

This Mother's Day, we're kicking off our annual Baby Bottle Campaign benefiting First Coast Women's Services — a local ministry that provides free, life-saving care to women and babies right here in our community.

Here's how it works: Pick up an empty baby bottle at the Connecting Point, fill it with spare change, cash, or a check over the next few weeks, and return it to the Connecting Point by Father's Day. That's it. Something that small can make an eternal difference.

First Coast Women's Services offers free pregnancy support, medical services, and so much more — and every dollar raised goes directly toward serving more women and saving more lives.

  • Women’s Ministry - Bible and Brunch June 6th

The Ladies at The Bridge will meet on Saturday, June 6 at 8:30am for breakfast and Bible Study, and we hope you will join us!

During Bible Study we will focus on The Full Armor of God while lifting the men in our congregation up in prayer. We will also make gift bags for the men, and we will hand them out on Father's Day!

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. ~Ephesians 6:10-18

  • Cove Students Summer Events

Summer is looking packed — and you're invited to all of it! Middle and high school students, get ready for a lineup of optional events designed to help you have fun, make memories, and hang out with your people this summer. We're talking open barn nights, beach days, river days, TopGolf, roller skating, pool days, and more. There's no pressure to be at everything — summers are busy, and we get that — but we'd love to see you at whatever works for your schedule. Just be sure to register for any events you plan to attend so we know who to expect. Questions? Reach out to Mitch Moody at mmoody@swisscovechristian.com — he's happy to help!

  • Growth Track Classes

No matter how long you’ve been at Swiss Cove—one day or thirty years—Growth Track is for you. This three-step journey is designed to help you discover your purpose and how to live it out in a way that makes a difference. In Step One, you’ll learn what we believe, how we’re structured, and how to become a member of the Cove. Step Two helps you discover your unique personality and spiritual gifts through assessments that reveal how God designed you. In Step Three, you'll explore all the ways you can use your gifts to serve and lead, both inside and outside the church. Please make sure to take all three classes in order—each step builds on the one before it.

  • Adult Bible Study - Sunday Mornings

Join us every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM for an in-depth Bible study led by Elder Matt Lake. Held on the second floor of Kidz Cove, this study is currently going through the book Core 52 .

Core 52 by Mark E. Moore is a practical guide designed to help you build a solid biblical foundation. The book highlights 52 key verses that capture the core themes of the Bible, offering clear explanations, memory tools, and practical applications. Perfect for both new believers and longtime Christians, Core 52 equips participants to grow deeper in their understanding of Scripture and apply God’s Word to everyday life.

All are welcome—come grow in faith and understanding with us!

  • Wednesday Night Dinners

Join us on Wednesday evenings at 6 PM for a time of fellowship and connection over a delicious meal. This is a wonderful opportunity to pause in the middle of your week, share life with your church family, and be refreshed together in Christ. The cost is $7 per person or $25 for a family of four. We can’t wait to welcome you to the table!

  • Laptops for DR Students

Laptops for DR Students" will give our supporters another way to participate in our ministry, help college bound Dominican students, and get a little tax break. If you have replaced your laptop and it’s sitting in a corner unused, or are going to replace it, consider donating your old/functioning laptop to Pr 22:6 Resource Ministry.

“Laptops for DR Students” will give your older/functioning laptop a new home where it will have a new lease on life serving a DR student. One of the great needs for DR students entering college is a laptop computer. We have had a few laptop donations in the past, that have been such a blessing to the recipients and believe it’s time to “go public” with this, so to speak.

Please identify yourself and provide an address (email or street address) when dropping off or shipping so we can provide you with an “in kind” donation receipt for tax purposes (you will assign the value of your machine).

Make sure to “wipe clean” and “reset” your laptop to remove all your information and reset the machine to factory default settings. There are several YouTube videos on how to do this.

By the way, we'll also take older cell phones (wiped clean of course and reset to factory defaults) to give away in the DR. My old iphone 5s was rendered obsolete without service (3G service in the US ended); but still works in the DR.

Please drop off your donations in the bin in the Atrium with your contact information attached.
